Biography

MARINER began as a group in the late 70's, as "FOURTH CHAPTER". The original members grew up together in Dearborn Heights MI. and began their professional life by playing the local school dances. As their reputation for perfection grew, so did the attendance at all the various venues they preformed at. In 1980 the band entered a nation wide "battle of the bands" winning out over 700 other entries. This propelled the band into touring. Japan, Canada and the U.S. became the bands home throughout the rest of the 80's. MARINER continued well into the 1990’s, setting attendance records and recording a large number of songs and video's. Mariner's 2nd CD " Make me Baby " introducing Bruce Kreiter on drums turned the band in a much heavier direction , those tracks have been placed in Film and Prime time TV shows including : " the LOVE GURU .....HUNG on HBO..... " Cold Case files" , Reunion on FOX and recently the movie " the FIGHTER "

Hanging out that day at Harmoine Park Studio's we met and shared a lot of laughs with so many amazing Detroit Rock Legends who were so gracious and we instantly felt a musical bond with them.
Dick Wagner, Johnny B, Ray Goodman, Prakash John, Jim McCarty, Jimmie Bones and Dennis Burr & we even got to meet the legendary Motown singer Pat Lewis. It was unforgettable!!

  

Marshall Block (President of Real II Reel Productions) first met Dick Wagner when he attended a songwriting seminar of his. After the seminar he approached him amongst many of Wagner's fans around him and said "Hi I'm Marshall Block, I have a offer you can't refuse". Marshall told Dick he wanted to produce his solo album for him "FREE OF CHARGE" and that my friends was how Dick Wagner's Rock Hitstory album was born from a production point of view

Currently Dick Wagner is on tour here in the Motor City and surrounding area's and when he's not jet setting off to a pressing engagement he's been writing and recording with some of Real II Reel's "HOT" up and coming "emerging Artists" Kianna Ryan & Jon - Michael Goins.

It first began when Real II Reel invited Matt Wilder (Wilderside Productions) to fly to Chicago and attend a talent showcase called Launch that is put on by Lynn Clark-Geiner, President of Traque International Model and Talent Management. She works with models, actors and singers in the Detroit area and has propelled the careers of many of her talent to NY, LA, Asia and Europe.

When Marshall, Matt and I showed up in Chicago in July 2011, Lynn was excited to introduce to us, her discovery! 3 identical 12 year old triplet boys. They gave us a "live" audition on the spot in the middle of the hotel lobby and completely blew us away. They sang a beautiful 3 part harmony together. We spent the rest of the afternoon discussing Album plans and what their life would be like as "ROCKSTARS" It was a very exciting time for everyone involved! Almost a year has passed and the boys are finished with their new album and have taken on a new name Congratulations to "MORE LIKE ME" were are all so proud of all your accomplishments. Watching from afar (Michigan) you have grown up so much and have blazed through the challenges of songwriting,recording and performing. We are honored and blessed to have you and your family apart of our music family, Our love and guidance will always be with you. We wish you "MUCH SUCCESS" in all your musical endeavors!
