TESTIMONIAL
I've never been more thrilled with the outcome of my recording sessions. With RealIIReel, an artist can develop his/her sound, supplement it with professionals, and create something that far exceeds the monetary value of what has been put into the project-- They act as the paint, brushes, and canvas; they receive input from the artist, and allow true creativity to flow. Did I mention the day and night difference between mastered material from other studios compared with Marshall's? It's a no brainer.

Real II Reel Production’s is proud to represent Drew Machak. Drew is known for his artistic excellence and ability to entertain his target audiences. For the past 4 years Drew has been the front man to The Blue Effect and have led the group’s success in the studio, as well as on the screen and on radio. One of his songs receives frequent radio play on WDET 101.9 with DJ Ann Delisi (who works with a Detroit radio show, also NPR) and has been on high rotation since March. For three Fox 2 news Detroit appearances Drew’s vocals led the group as they promoted upcoming festivals they were to participate in. Art Beats & Eats in 2009 and the Motown Winter Blast Festival in 2010 were followed by featured interviews on MSU’s radio station, “The Impact”, then Ann Delisi’s show in 2011. The Blue Effect debuted an EP called “Wired to Groove” and all the proceeds benefited “Spartan’s Fighting Cancer”. Hours after being on Ann’s show, Drew headlined a Guinness World Record breaking concert with The Blue Effect at AJ’s Cafe that continued for over 300 hours straight. In track one “String Theory” Drew’s sound is comparable with Michael Buble’s style, simply because of the arrangement and crooning vocals. In the other three songs however, we can show you the raw, stripped down 21 year old that he is, molded by Jim Morrison, Radiohead and The Beatles. Drew played a role in the film Myth of The American Sleepover, he was fortunate enough to get a song placed in that film. IFC has now picked up the film, released it over in France, and will release it in major cities in the US, starting with New York, Detroit, and LA this summer! With encouragement from former Atlantic artist Michael King, Drew is looking to place more music. Last summer Drew connected with Mike McVay, the president of McVay Media and he had this to say about a song he emailed him. ”The song is EXCELLENT! It is worth the time and investment to make it successful. I like it very much and you should be very proud of it.” His response was short and clear, and Drew could not have been more thrilled.

Recently Drew competed in one of Real II Reel's annual charity event's TALENT QUEST a singing competition held at Bubba O'Malley's in Burton, MI for the Whaley Foundation. 100 % of the proceeds went to the Children's Miracle Network. Drew came in third place and was awarded a recording session with Real II Reel Productions. He also won a $ 1,500 scholarship from Lynn Clarke Geiner (President of Traque International Model Mgmt) to attend a event called Launch in Chicago organized by Traque International Model Mgmt. Currently Drew is finishing up his soon to be released album recorded and produced at Real II Reel Productions.
